MP3tunes Launches "Buy Anywhere, Listen Everywhere"

New initiative offers cable-free syncing of music between Apple and Google devices

SAN DIEGO, Calif.-- MP3tunes has launched the new generation of personal cloud music which makes all popular music stores and music devices work together seamlessly. "Buy Anywhere, Listen Everywhere" makes it possible for the first time to buy music from all popular digital music vendors and play them on a wide variety of music devices regardless of vendor.

"Apple wants to lock you into their store and devices," said Michael Robertson, founder and CEO of MP3tunes. "But what's best for consumer is to be able to shop at any store and use it with any device and that's what is now possible with MP3tunes' Buy Anywhere, Listen Everywhere." (For more information, please see www.michaelrobertson.com.)

For example, a user can buy a song using their Android phone, and be able to listen to it within minutes on their iPod touch. (See this in action at http://www.youtube.com/mp3tunes#p/a/u/0/7Uzi3c20FxI). Conversely, songs purchased from iTunes on a PC can be played almost immediately on an Android phone (View this video at http://www.youtube.com/mp3tunes#p/u/3/gtjjBrGpu4M). In both cases, no cable connection or traditional syncing is needed to move or listen to the music.
