DAR.fm offers more shows and better audio fidelity

More than 2,000 changes have been made to the DAR.fm guide making it more accurate and comprehensive than ever. Search for your favorite here. Remember if you ever experience a mis-record you can click the Change the Guide link and correct the guide so it's better for all.

DAR.fm also now records in stereo so expect richer audio from music and talk stations. All recordings from October 18th (or later) will automatically have this benefit - no action is required by you. Just sit back and let the audio goodness wash over you.

Add music to your Locker in 3 Easy Steps

Here is how to add music to your MP3tunes Locker in 3 Easy Steps:


  1. Click "Load Music & Video"

    First, log in to your account at mp3tunes.com. Now, click the "Load Music & Video" link at the top. It looks like this:



  2. Select Your Files
    The next step is to select which files you want to upload to your Locker. If you use iTunes and save your music in the default location you can click "Find All My Music" and the program will attempt to locate your files automatically. If you don't have iTunes or, if you store your music in a folder that can't be found, then you can click "Find Music Myself" and manually locate your files. (Tip: You can also drag and drop files or folders from your file manager on to this uploader window)



  3. Click Upload

    After your files have been selected just click the "Upload" button to begin adding stuff to your Locker. After the upload is complete you can click on the "Player" link to go listen to your music.

Your music locker is now your MEDIA locker


Now you can upload your personal videos to your MP3tunes Locker. You can view your videos in a web browser wherever you go. This is great for saving footage of your daughter's soccer game or your friend's rockin' party. But, it gets so much better.....

Not only can you upload your personal videos, you can share them with your friends and family with just a click!

Here's how you can add (and share) videos from your MP3tunes Media Locker:

1.) First, you have to add some videos to your Locker. There are 3 ways you can do this:
2.) Now, choose the video to send. Log in to mp3tunes.com and locate the videos you uploaded. Click the icon next to the video and select "Send to...."


3.) Type your friend's email address and click "Send". That's it! The Locker will send your friend or family member an email with a link to your video.

Battle of the WebOS Apps!

We are happy to announce two new options for HP WebOS customers. If you have a Palm Pre or Palm Pixi phone you can now listen to your MP3tunes Locker on the go. Earlier this year HP bought Palm and they have announced plans to roll out a bunch of new phones, tablets, and devices running WebOS. So, by the end of the year, we expect to see a whole bunch of new WebOS devices that work with MP3tunes.

We encourage you to install both of these apps and try them out. Find the one you like best and let us know what you think.

Looking for iPhone beta testers

We've been working on a new version of the iPhone app (Airband) and we are looking for some beta testers. If you have an iPhone and/or an iPod touch you can email us your Unique Device ID (UDID) and we'll add you to the list of testers. We'll send you instructions and a copy of the new software to try. But, in order to tests, we need your unique device ID. Here's how to find it:

1. Connect your device to your computer and launch iTunes.
2. In iTunes, select your device in the ‘Devices’ section and navigate to the Summary tab.
3. Click on the Serial Number label to reveal the Identifier field and the 40 character UDID.
4. Press Control+C to copy the UDID to your clipboard. (Use Command+C on a Mac)
